Merino wool is the best among virgin wools and is known worldwide for its softness, strength, versatility and performance.

It is a 100% natural fibre, not recycled and untreated. It is produced by 71 million sheep that live on water, air, sun and grass. 

On a microscopic level, each fibre of Merino wool is like a spiral spring that, after being bent, returns to its natural shape. This gives the merino wool garments a natural resistance to creasing and therefore makes the garments easy to care for.

Merino wool is also one of the most breathable fibers, can absorb large amounts of steam that are then released into the air thus keeping the skin dry.

The most magical feature of merino wool is its ability to react to changes in body temperature by keeping warm when it’s cold and dispersing heat and moisture when it’s hot. Merino virgin wool is the perfect thermal control yarn, it has the ability to maintain optimal body temperature and counteracts the frequent thermal changes that children are subject to. Merino wool also absorbs the odour-producing sweat molecules, which are released only after washing.
