This baby hat is made from the finest, extra-fine, shrinkable merino wool from the best Italian spinning mills. This fibre is also Oeko-Tex 100 Class 1 certified.

It is a 100% natural fibre that has not been recycled or industrially treated. It is naturally crease-resistant and one of the most breathable fibres, keeping the skin warm and dry thanks to its ability to absorb moisture.

Merino wool is the thermo-regulating yarn par excellence, it has the ability to maintain the optimum body temperature by warming in the cold and releasing heat in the heat, thus counteracting the frequent temperature fluctuations to which children are exposed. And there are plenty of them.

The fibres of Merino Extrafine wool are extremely fine, so they can be bent much more than the fibres of conventional wool, which makes them extremely soft and gentle on the skin. 

Most Merino wool garments can be washed in domestic washing machines at 30° on a delicate cycle.

Another wonderful aspect of this wool is that it naturally offers a high level of UV protection that is far superior to most synthetic fabrics.
