This baby jacket is made of the finest extra-fine pure newborn Merino wool from the best Italian spinning mills. This fibre is also Oeko-Tex 100 class 1 certified. 

It is a 100% natural fibre, not recycled and not industrially treated. It is, by nature, resistant to wrinkling and is one of the most breathable fibres, thanks to its ability to absorb moisture it allows the skin to stay warm and dry.

Merino virgin wool is the thermoregulating yarn par excellence, it has the ability to maintain optimal body temperature, keeping warm when it is cold and dispersing heat when it is hot, counteracting the frequent temperature changes to which children are subject. And there are plenty of them.

Merino Extrafine wool fibres are extremely fine, allowing them to bend much more than the fibres of traditional wools, which makes it enormously soft and gentle on the skin. 

Most Merino Wool garments can be washed in domestic washing machines at 30° with delicate washing.

Another wonderful aspect of this wool is that it naturally offers high UV protection, far superior to most synthetic fabrics.
