It is a 100% natural fibre and is produced by sheep that live on water, air, sun and grass. 

It is breathable and thermoregulable as it absorbs moisture from the body and expels it outside, maintaining a constant ideal body temperature and keeping your baby's skin dry.

Merino wool is flame-retardant and water-repellent by nature. It is not attacked by mould and contains lanolin, which is used as a painkiller in ointments for therapeutic use, relieving pain due to inflammation. 

It does not produce electrostatic discharges unlike synthetic fabrics and therefore decreases heart rates.

It is an environmentally friendly and sustainable fibre.

On a microscopic level, each Merino Wool fibre is like a coiled spring that, after being folded, returns to its natural shape. This gives Merino Wool garments a natural resistance to wrinkling and thus also makes them easy to care for.

Most Merino Wool garments can be washed in domestic washing machines at 30° with gentle washing, finally answering the frequently asked question ‘How do I wash Wool?’ - no spinning, mind you!

Another great aspect of this fibre is that it naturally offers high UV protection, far superior to most fabrics.

This new sleepsuit by Maglificio di Verona is knitted in one yarn on the twelfth fineness, making it light to wear but warm and comfortable.

Refined and elegant. It is enriched with links knitting that crosses over with shaved knitting, two apparently simple stitches that give the garment a refined taste. It has an opening at the back and mid-leg for easy dressing.

Delicate in every detail, it has details defined by hand by our seamstresses.

The most precious feature, however, is its softness in contact with the skin, due precisely to the fine workmanship of the yarn.
